We are actively looking for highly professional and dynamic individuals to fill Cover Supervisor roles within our partnership secondary schools in the Maghull area.
A Cover Supervisor is a crucial member of the school staff, responsible for managing a classroom of secondary students (ages 11-16) and ensuring learning continues smoothly when the regular teacher is absent. Some of the main responsibilities are:
- Lead the class and manage secondary students (ages 11-16).
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons from the absent teacher.
- Hand out and collect learning materials.
- Take and record the class attendance register.
- Supervise students while they complete their tasks.
- Report lesson progress and any student issues to the teacher.
- Ensure student safety and well-being.
Skills Required:
- Strong Communicators: Able to clearly deliver instructions to large groups of students.
- Punctual and Reliable: Ready to start promptly and committed to consistent attendance.
- Patient and Calm: Capable of handling challenging classroom situations with composure.
