As a Cover Supervisor, you will play an integral role in supporting students across both Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). You'll be helping to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment while delivering lessons and assisting students in their learning process. Responsibilities
- Lesson Delivery: Oversee pre-planned lessons, ensuring students remain engaged and on task.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere by managing student behaviour effectively.
- Support Student Learning: Help students with their tasks, offer guidance, and ensure they stay focused.
- Uphold School Values: Cultivate a respectful classroom environment by upholding school policies and guidelines
- Provide Feedback: Collect student work, provide feedback when needed, and assist in tracking their progress.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience working with secondary school students is essential.
- Classroom Management Skills: Skilled in keeping students engaged and managing classroom behaviour efficiently.
- Strong Communication: Strong communication abilities to collaborate effectively with students and staff.
- Eligibility to Work: Must have the right to work in the UK.
- DBS Check: An up-to-date Enhanced DBS check (or a willingness to obtain one).
- References: Two professional references from recent educational roles.
