Interactive Learning: Delivering pre-set lessons with energy to keep younger pupils engaged and motivated.
Small Group Support: Assisting children with their tasks, particularly in core areas like Phonics, Literacy, and Maths.
Reporting: Collecting completed work and providing a brief handover for the returning class teacher.
Safeguarding: Upholding a secure environment and strictly adhering to all child protection protocols.
Requirements
Education: Minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grades 9-4 / A*-C) including English and Maths.
Communication: Fluent written and spoken English with the ability to explain concepts clearly to children.
Experience: Previous experience working with children (e.g., nurseries, schools, or youth clubs) is highly desirable.
Compliance: An Enhanced DBS check is required (we can assist with your application if you aren't on the Update Service).
Qualities: Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for primary education.
Note: Degrees, Cache Level 3, or PGCEs are advantageous but not essential.
