Randstad Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated Cover Supervisor to support a standout Academy located in the heart of South Norwood. As a key member of a prestigious Multi-Academy Trust (MAT), this school is known for its modern facilities, inclusive culture, and "community-first" atmosphere.
We are looking for someone who lives locally or has excellent transport links to SE25 and can handle the fast-paced nature of on-the-day bookings.
Your Typical Day
You'll be the face of stability when the unexpected happens. Your day starts with a morning call, followed by:
Supervising classes across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Ages 11-16).
Implementing the "Ready to Learn" policies that keep this Academy running smoothly.
Ensuring students stay on task with the work provided by the department heads.
Providing feedback to the school's cover coordinator at the end of the day.

This role isn't about being an expert in every subject; it's about presence and personality. * The "Morning Hero": You are available from 7:00 AM and can get to South Norwood quickly.
The Communicator: You can explain instructions clearly and keep students motivated.
The Professional: You understand the importance of safeguarding and maintaining high expectations within a MAT environment.
The Local: Ideally, you are based in Croydon, Bromley, or Lambeth for easy access to the school site.
