Are you an experience Data Analyst with a background in the logistic, supply chain or operations industry?
If so then Holcim are looking for a Data Analyst to provide dedicated analytical and project support to the Logistics stream within the SAP & BSR transformation programme.
Role - Data Analyst
Pay - £37k
Location- Holcim, Bardon Hill, Coalville LE67 1TD (3 days in the office, 2 remote)
Shift pattern- Mon-Fri, 08:30-17:00 (1 hour unpaid break daily)
Duration- 6 months initially
Start date - ASAP (within 1-2 weeks)
Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Transformation (50%)
- Support the collation, standardisation and transformation of Logistics Master Data
- Lead the initiatives to cleanse master data, committing results to system
- Work cross functionally to determine the needs and purpose of data fields
- Work closely with the current Logistics Lead to understand current data design
- Document and arrange all data in future proof templates
- Testing & Quality Assurance (20%)
- Support the Logistics Business Analyst in the creation of test scripts
- Conduct sense check and quality testing of data on tests
- Ensure quality assurance is complete on data for migration
- Lead the approach the data readiness for migration cycles across various systems
Reporting & BI Support (20%)
- Drive the speed of development of reporting in new systems landscape by providing data model
- Complete gap analysis of current reporting landscape at field level to new
- Provide updates as required to data steerco and wider BSR program
- Track project risks, issues, and dependencies; maintain RAID log
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure all non-Logistics reporting requirements are covered with data originating from Logistics systems.
Training & Change Support (10%)
- Join training and knowledge sharing sessions to aid with the translation of data
- Complete easy to understand translation tools of old data to new
- Confidence to explain the purpose of data in systems to key users
Required skills:
Essential
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, IT or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Experience supporting system implementation, process improvement, or transformation projects
- Strong data analysis skills with advanced Excel capability (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data manipulation)
- Experience with business process documentation and mapping
- Excellent written communication skills for documentation and training materials
- Strong attention to detail and quality orientation
Desired
- Strong understanding of Order-to-Delivery processes in a multi-site, multi-product environment
- ERP system experience (SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle)
- UAT testing and defect management experience (JIRA, ServiceNow)
