We are seeking experienced Dryliners to join busy construction projects across Bristol and the surrounding areas. With a strong pipeline of work in both commercial and residential sectors, we need dedicated individuals to contribute to the high-quality finish of various developments.
Job Description:
As an experienced Dryliner, you will be responsible for installing and finishing plasterboard walls and ceilings on a variety of construction sites. Your role will involve working from plans to ensure precise installation, creating smooth surfaces ready for decoration, and adhering to all site safety protocols. You will be a key part of the construction team, contributing to the timely and successful completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measuring and cutting plasterboard to precise specifications according to site plans and drawings.
- Fixing plasterboard panels to metal or timber frames, and ceiling joists.
- Creating openings for doors, windows, and services.
- Taping, filling, and sealing joints to a smooth finish (taping and jointing skills highly desirable).
- Applying skim coats of plaster where required.
- Sanding and preparing surfaces for painting and decorating.
- Ensuring all work meets high-quality standards and adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Working efficiently as part of a team and independently to meet project deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Dryliner in a construction environment.
- Valid CSCS card is essential.
- NVQ Level 2 in Drylining (or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Proficient in all aspects of drylining, including fixing, finishing, and potentially plastering/skimming.
- Own full set of tools and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Good understanding of health and safety on site.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence may be advantageous.
