What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must have successfully completed your initial teacher training and gained QTS.
Passion for Primary Education: A genuine desire to foster a love of learning in primary-aged children across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
Commitment: A dedicated and reliable individual looking for full-time, long-term work to complete your ECT induction. Our aim is to secure you consistent placements within supportive schools.
Working Hours: Ability to commit to full-time hours, typically 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, during term time.
SEND Understanding: A willingness to learn and develop your understanding of supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Key Qualities: Eagerness to learn, adaptable, resilient, excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a collaborative spirit.
Your Role Will Involve:
Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
Assessing, monitoring, and recording the progress of pupils, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where all children feel safe and valued.
Managing classroom behaviour effectively, with guidance and support from experienced colleagues.
Collaborating closely with your mentor, phase leader, and the SENCO to develop your teaching practice and support all pupils, including those with SEND.
Actively participating in school meetings, professional development, and your ECT induction programme.
