We are working with a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Southend-on-Sea that is looking for an enthusiastic Science Teacher (ECT) to join their team. The Role
... - Teach General Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE).
- Create engaging, safe, and interactive lessons that spark curiosity in students.
- Differentiate lessons to ensure all students, regardless of ability, can access the curriculum.
- Participate in departmental planning and moderation.
- Specialism: The ability to teach Biology, Chemistry, or Physics to Key Stage 5 is advantageous but not essential.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold (or be on track to achieve) UK QTS.
- A relevant degree in a Science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science).
- A passion for education and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- Two distinct references (including your final placement reference).
