Finishing Foreman Opportunity: Residential Development in Huntingdon
A leading construction firm is seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman to join their team on a residential development site in Huntingdon.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the finishing stages of the project, ensuring high-quality standards are met and that work progresses efficiently and to schedule. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to health and safety on site.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervising and coordinating all finishing trades, including painters, decorators, plasterers, and carpenters.
Ensuring work is completed to the required specifications and quality standards.
Conducting regular inspections and snagging to identify and rectify defects.
Managing and motivating site personnel to achieve project milestones.
Maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Collaborating effectively with the site management team, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman on residential construction projects.
Valid CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
Valid First Aid at Work certification.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
A thorough understanding of construction processes and finishing trades.
