The Role: Secondary Geography Teacher
We are looking for an innovative and dedicated Geography Teacher to deliver engaging and stimulating lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3), Key Stage 4 (GCSE), and ideally Key Stage 5 (A-Level).

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, inspiring lessons covering physical, human, and environmental geography topics.
- Lead and organize compulsory and optional fieldwork opportunities to bring the curriculum to life and develop practical geographical skills.
- Assess, track, and report on student performance, using data to inform planning and ensure high levels of progress for all abilities.
- Cultivate an active interest in current local, national, and global geographical issues.
- Contribute positively to the collaborative development of schemes of work, resources, and assessment strategies within the department.
- Maintain an inclusive classroom environment that encourages debate, critical thinking, and respect for diverse cultures and environments.
Candidate Profile: What We're Seeking
We are searching for a Geography specialist who is passionate about their field and dedicated to fostering critical spatial awareness in students.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, coupled with a strong degree in Geography or a related field.
- Proven ability to teach across the secondary age range, with experience of delivering outstanding results at the GCSE level.
- Excellent subject knowledge in both physical and human geography, with a keen interest in modern geographical issues.
- Strong commitment to utilising GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and digital mapping technology in teaching.
- An enthusiastic team player with strong organizational and pastoral care skills.
