About the Role
The successful candidate will join a vibrant Humanities department, delivering a curriculum designed to provide students with a balanced understanding of the human and physical world. This is a full-time position starting ASAP, where the educator will be responsible for teaching Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role involves not just classroom teaching, but also facilitating fieldwork and helping students develop into sustainable global citizens.

Requirements
... - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Knowledge of current GCSE exam board specifications.

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Geography lessons that inspire and challenge all learners.
- Set and mark meaningful assessments to track student progress.
- Prepare Year 11 students for GCSE examinations through targeted revision.
- Act as a Form Tutor, supporting the pastoral and personal development of students.
- Organise and execute geography fieldwork to bring the curriculum to life.
- Engage with parents and carers through evenings and regular progress reports.
- Participate in departmental meetings and Trust-wide CPD sessions.
- Foster an inclusive environment for students within the specialist provision.
- Contribute to the Contextual Curriculum exploring global domestic issues.
- Maintain a safe and organised classroom environment conducive to learning.
