Role & Responsibilities
As an HCA Band 3, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team providing compassionate care to patients. You will assist with daily needs, monitor vital signs, offer emotional support, and contribute to a safe and clean environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a tangible impact on the lives of patients within a busy but supportive NHS setting. You'll work primarily day shifts, allowing for a better work-life balance.
Main tasks include
- Assisting patients with personal care and mobility
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting changes to nursing staff
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Maintaining a clean and safe patient environment
- Contributing to the overall patient care plan
- Minimum 6 months NHS experience working with mental health
- Eligibility to work full-time in the UK
- Up-to-date immunizations
- DBS check on the Update Service
- Completed mandatory training
- Experience with patient moving and handling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
