Join our team as a Hygiene Coordinator! We are looking for a dedicated professional to be the driving force behind a clean, safe, and compliant facility at our operation in Newport, North Humberside.
Pay and Location- Salary: £14.50 per hour
- Location: Dianthus Business Park, Newport, North Humberside
- Shift: Monday - Friday, 06:00am until finish
As our Hygiene Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing hygiene schedules, overseeing cleaning standards, and ensuring full site compliance with strict safety regulations. This role is essential for maintaining a safe and efficient workspace for all staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Management & Oversight: Oversee and manage daily cleaning standards, hygiene schedules, and overall site compliance with company and statutory regulations.
- Compliance & Audits: Support internal and external audits, maintain meticulous hygiene records, and ensure all systems are audit-ready.
- Training: Train staff on hygiene best practices, proper cleaning protocols, and chemical handling procedures.
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in hygiene processes and maintain confidence in managing the facility's hygiene systems.
- Hygiene Experience: Previous experience in a food-based or hygiene-critical environment is highly preferable.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to meticulously monitor cleaning standards and documentation.
- Organisational Skills: Highly organised to manage complex hygiene schedules, records, and training programmes efficiently.
- Safety Awareness: A proactive attitude towards safety and a thorough understanding of compliance and sanitation standards.
- Confidence: Confidence in managing hygiene processes, leading compliance efforts, and training staff.
