A client of mine is looking for an Induction Coordinator based in Willesden.
Ready to be the first point of contact for a major rail construction project? A leading Joint Venture working on a landmark rail scheme and are looking for a dedicated Induction Coordinator to be the face of the project.
This is a vital, contracted role until December offering a competitive hourly rate of £17 - £20. As the Induction Coordinator, you will be instrumental in ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficient start for everyone joining the project.
Your key duties will include:
Access Management: Administering the project's access control and security systems to ensure only authorised personnel enter the site.
Compliance & Verification: Verifying and uploading essential documents to our competency management system, ensuring all workers meet the required standards.
Project Onboarding: Leading the project's induction day, welcoming new team members and providing all necessary project briefings.
Support & Collaboration: Acting as the primary point of contact for supply chain administrators, offering troubleshooting and system support.
Inbox Management: Handling all induction-related queries and communications through the project's dedicated email inbox.
Profile Integrity: Meticulously checking and updating worker profiles to ensure all information is accurate and ready for induction.
Vetting & Clearance: Managing the process for vetting and security clearance emails, ensuring all necessary checks are completed.
Process Improvement: Maintaining all induction processes via our Engage system and creating supporting documentation to drive continuous improvement.
Procurement Oversight: Supporting the procurement approval process, ensuring all new suppliers are correctly added to the system before starting work.
Document Control: Proactively managing and chasing the renewal of all expired documents to maintain full compliance.
System Briefings: Providing clear briefings and upskilling for the project team, subcontractors, and third parties on all system and process developments.
Team Support: Assisting the wider Health, Safety, and Security team with the rollout of specific briefings and behavioural change programs.
We are looking for someone with:
Proven experience in a coordination or administrative role, ideally within construction or rail.
Exceptional organisational skills and an eye for detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of people.
Proficiency with document management and IT systems.
A proactive and positive attitude with a passion for health, safety, and continuous improvement.
