Key Stage 1 Supply Teacher
Location: Colchester, Essex Pay Rate: £150 - £170 per day Start Date: January 2026
Primary Please is urgently seeking qualified Key Stage 1 Teachers to join our supply pool for primary schools across Colchester.
We work with a diverse range of schools in the Colchester area, from village primaries to larger multi-academy trusts. We are looking for educators who can deliver engaging lessons to Year 1 and Year 2 classes on a flexible, daily basis.
The Role:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons to KS1 classes.
- Marking completed work at the end of the day (no taking work home!).
- Maintaining positive behaviour management in line with school policies.
- Pay: £150 - £170 per day, dependent on experience.
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds UK QTS.
- Has strong knowledge of the KS1 Phonics screening check and curriculum (desired but not essential for daily supply).
- Is reliable, personable, and able to hit the ground running.
- Based in Colchester or within a commutable distance in North Essex.
