The Role: Key Stage 1 Teacher
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and highly skilled Key Stage 1 Teacher to deliver high-quality teaching and learning to our infant pupils. This is a crucial role for an educator who is passionate about the foundational years of education, focusing on developing literacy, numeracy, and essential social skills. The successful candidate will play a vital part in creating a joyful, structured, and stimulating classroom environment where every child feels valued and inspired to learn.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum objectives.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils, ensuring effective use of data to inform future planning.
- Create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment that encourages high levels of pupil engagement and positive behaviour.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of pupils' progress and pastoral matters.
- Establish strong, positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Take responsibility for a curriculum area, leading its development across Key Stage 1, if appropriate.
- Contribute to the school's extra-curricular programme and wider school life.
- Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, parents' evenings, and professional development sessions.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
- A comprehensive understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to promoting high standards of behaviour and respect.
- The ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with young children, parents, and staff.
- High levels of creativity, enthusiasm, and flexibility in adapting to the needs of the pupils.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
- A proven track record of helping children make excellent progress in literacy and numeracy.
- A collaborative team player who contributes positively to the overall ethos of the school.
