About the Role
We are recruiting an enthusiastic, talented, and dedicated Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher (Years 1 or 2) to contribute significantly to our school's continued success. This role is perfect for a teacher who thrives on seeing rapid progress and fostering independent, confident young learners.

Your Roles and Responsibilities will include:
- Designing and delivering challenging and engaging lessons across all subjects of the National Curriculum for KS1.
- Implementing high-quality, systematic phonics teaching to ensure early reading fluency and comprehension.
- Skillfully differentiating instruction to meet the varied needs of all pupils, including those with EAL and SEND.
- Accurately assessing, monitoring, and recording pupil attainment and progress, using detailed data analysis to inform future planning and interventions.
- Cultivating a safe, stimulating, and highly organised classroom environment that promotes pupil autonomy and self-esteem.
- Managing and supervising classroom support staff, ensuring their deployment is strategic and impactful.
- Establishing and maintaining professional and supportive lines of communication with parents/carers about curriculum and pupil performance.
- Actively contributing to school-wide development, potentially leading or co-leading a subject area within the phase.
What We're Looking For
We seek a passionate educator who is skilled in KS1 and committed to excellence.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Demonstrable expertise in teaching the KS1 National Curriculum and associated assessments.
- A proven track record of securing high pupil progress in reading, writing, and mathematics.
- Excellent pedagogical understanding and the ability to use creative teaching methods to engage young children.
- Strong organisational skills, a proactive work ethic, and a commitment to high professional standards.
- The capacity to manage pupil behaviour positively and effectively, creating a calm learning atmosphere.
- A collaborative team player who is keen to share best practices and contribute positively to school life.
