We are looking for an inspiring Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join an infant department and help our youngest learners take their exciting first steps in primary education. About the Role
This pivotal role involves teaching children in Years 1 and 2, focusing on literacy, numeracy, and holistic development. You will be instrumental in making learning fun, engaging, and meaningful for children aged 5-7.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and well-differentiated lessons across the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum.
- Create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment that promotes high standards of behaviour and academic achievement.
- Conduct continuous assessment of pupils' progress, recording observations and providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Manage a classroom effectively, utilizing varied teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Collaborate with Teaching Assistants (TAs), colleagues, and the wider school community to support the well-being and progress of all pupils.
- Contribute to the development of the KS1 curriculum and participate in school improvement initiatives.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with parents regarding their child's development and school activities.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Years 1 or 2).
- A thorough understanding of the KS1 National Curriculum and effective phonics programmes.
- Exceptional skills in classroom management and creating a warm, structured learning atmosphere.
- Proven ability to foster children's creativity, critical thinking, and social-emotional development.
- A proactive and collaborative approach, eager to share ideas and work closely with the KS1 team.
