The Role: Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher
This is an exciting opportunity for an educator to take ownership of a Key Stage 2 class (Years 3-6), driving high standards of achievement and fostering a genuine love of learning. Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and deliver highly effective and engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of all pupils within the Key Stage 2 framework.
- Establish a safe, stimulating, and well-managed classroom environment conducive to excellent learning and high standards of behaviour.
- Accurately assess, monitor, record, and report on pupil progress, using data effectively to inform future planning and intervention strategies.
- Lead statutory assessments (e.g., SATs preparation) and ensure pupils are fully supported to achieve their best outcomes.
- Actively engage with parents and carers through regular communication and meetings to support pupils' learning journey.
- Contribute to whole-school improvement initiatives and participate enthusiastically in regular staff meetings and training.
- Undertake the professional duties of a primary school teacher, adhering strictly to the school's policies on safeguarding and well-being.
What We're Looking For in You
We seek a professional who is innovative, passionate, and committed to high-quality education.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and successful Key Stage 2 teaching experience are mandatory.
- A proven ability to deliver consistently outstanding, creative, and purposeful lessons.
- Strong pedagogical knowledge, particularly in promoting literacy and numeracy skills across the curriculum.
- An inclusive practitioner who skilfully differentiates teaching and learning to support both high-achieving pupils and those with additional needs (SEND/EAL).
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills, with a genuine desire to work collaboratively within a team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
