The Role: Key Stage 2 Teacher
We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to inspire one of the classes. This role is perfect for a teacher who thrives on helping children transition from concrete to abstract thinking, master core subjects, and develop essential study skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging and challenging learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a drive for excellence.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons across all subjects of the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
- Effectively assess, monitor, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils, using data analysis to inform future planning and intervention.
- Manage the classroom effectively, establishing a positive and disciplined environment that promotes excellent behaviour and mutual respect.
- Provide targeted support and challenge to ensure every child reaches their full potential, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and those who are Most Able.
- Establish and maintain strong communication with parents/carers regarding their child's progress and welfare.
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of a specific subject area across the school (e.g., Science, History, or P.E.).
- Participate in school-wide duties, meetings, and continuing professional development (CPD) sessions.
- Administer statutory assessments, including SATs, as required, and prepare pupils effectively.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6).
- Excellent knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and a track record of securing high levels of pupil progress and attainment.
- Strong pedagogical skills, with an ability to make learning creative, engaging, and relevant.
- Outstanding classroom management skills and a commitment to nurturing well-behaved, motivated learners.
- Highly collaborative and willing to share best practice and contribute positively to team planning.
- Expertise in using assessment for learning (AfL) to tailor lessons effectively.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Enthusiasm, resilience, and a flexible approach to the demands of primary school life.
