The Role: Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher
We are looking for an inspiring and dynamic Key Stage 2 (KS2) Primary Teacher to join our highly effective team. This role involves teaching a specific cohort within Years 3 to 6, focusing on preparing pupils academically and personally for the next stage of their education. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment requirements.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the full Key Stage 2 curriculum (e.g., English, Maths, Science, History, Geography).
- Utilise effective assessment strategies to track pupil progress and inform future planning, especially in preparation for statutory assessments.
- Foster a stimulating and challenging classroom environment that encourages independence, critical thinking, and a love of learning.
- Maintain detailed records of pupil achievement and progress, and communicate these clearly to parents/carers.
- Lead and manage the classroom, ensuring excellent standards of behaviour and mutual respect.
- Contribute actively to Key Stage 2 team meetings, curriculum development, and school improvement initiatives.
- Participate in school events, assemblies, and extra-curricular clubs relevant to KS2 interests.
What We're Looking For
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., QTS or equivalent).
- Demonstrable experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6) is essential.
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum and effective strategies for raising attainment.
- The ability to build strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- A reflective practitioner who is committed to their continuous professional development.
- Exceptional skills in literacy and numeracy, and the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
- Energy, creativity, and resilience to manage the demands of a busy primary classroom.
