About the Role
This challenging and rewarding role involves teaching children aged 7-11 (Years 3-6) as they mature into independent learners. You will play a vital part in preparing them academically and personally for their next educational step.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver stimulating and highly effective lessons that cover the entire Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
- Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress meticulously, using data to inform future planning and interventions.
- Cultivate a purposeful, inclusive, and encouraging classroom atmosphere that promotes resilience and high academic standards.
- Take responsibility for the pastoral care and well-being of a class, acting as the primary point of contact for parents/guardians.
- Organise and manage educational resources, including the effective use of ICT to enhance learning.
- Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.
- Prepare students effectively for statutory assessments (SATs) while maintaining a broad and balanced curriculum.
What We're Looking For
We need a proactive, reflective, and enthusiastic professional who can truly motivate and challenge our KS2 pupils.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and significant experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Years 3, 4, 5, or 6).
- An in-depth knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, assessment procedures, and expected standards.
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a demanding workload efficiently.
- A proven track record of driving pupil attainment and closing achievement gaps.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
- The capacity to work effectively as part of a team, contributing positively to the overall school ethos.
- A strong commitment to child safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
