Are you a creative and dedicated Primary Teacher (QTS) with a passion for the foundational years of education? We are looking for an enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our partner schools in Preston. If you love bringing Phonics to life and fostering a nurturing environment where Year 1 and Year 2 pupils can thrive, we want to hear from you!
We offer flexible working patterns to suit your career goals. Whether you want the variety of ad-hoc supply (£120 - £140 per day) where you can focus purely on teaching without the planning, or a long-term placement (£150 - £220 per day) that allows you to lead a class through the full academic term and prepare for KS1 assessments, we have the right match for you.

Your Responsibilities as a KS1 Teacher includes:
- Ability to communicate with and encourage children with additional needs.

Essential requirements:
- Relevant qualifications (PGCE, QTS etc.)
- High knowledge of the KS1 national curriculum.
- Classroom experience.
- Two references from the last 5 years (1 must be a full child-based safeguarding reference)
Desired:
- DBS on the update service. Randstad is committed to the safety of young children; therefore all posts will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references. If your DBS is not on the update service we can assist you in this.
