Randstad Education is currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teachers to work on a supply basis in primary schools across Bradford. KS1 covers Years 1 and 2, with students typically aged 5 to 7. We are looking for passionate educators who can create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment while ensuring learning continuity.
The Role
As a Supply KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for:
Delivering high-quality, pre-planned lessons across the KS1 curriculum.
Creating a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
Effectively managing classroom behaviour and supporting pupils' emotional well-being.
Adapting quickly to different school policies, routines, and lesson plans.
Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback (for long-term placements).
Communicating professionally with school staff.

What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience teaching at Key Stage 1.
A strong understanding of the KS1 National Curriculum and assessment.
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
Reliability, adaptability, and a proactive approach.
