Your cover teaching responsibilities:
- Mark and assess work taught from your day(s) of cover
- Record lesson development and outline pupil progress
- Guide and direct support staff and utilise the classroom teaching assistant
- Build positive relationships with children, staff and parents
- Follow planning to continue a coherent learning journey
- Deliver lessons with enthusiasm!

Requirements of the cover teacher role:
- Relevant teaching qualifications (PGCE, QTS etc.)
- Grade C or above (or relevant equivalent) in GCSE English and Maths
- 2 references from the last 5 years
- Experience teaching in a UK primary school
- Job history that covers the last 10 years
- An in-date Enhanced DBS on the update service
