KS3 Teaching Assistant - North Wales

Location: Flintshire, Wrexham, and Denbighshire
Pay Rate: £13.68 - £14.00 per hour

We are looking for dedicated KS3 Teaching Assistants to support students across North Wales. This is a brilliant opportunity to help pupils aged 11-14 build a strong academic foundation as they start their secondary school journey.

Duties:

• Helping Year 7 students transition smoothly from primary to secondary school.
• Explaining lesson instructions clearly to ensure all students can complete their work.
• Leading small group "catch-up" sessions for literacy and numeracy support.
• Supporting the classroom teacher with behaviour management and student engagement.
• Working 1-on-1 with students who require extra patience and guidance.
• Assisting with the preparation of creative classroom resources and displays.
• Acting as a positive role model to help students build their confidence and social skills.

What we are looking for:

• A patient, adaptable, and energetic approach to working with young people.
• Good levels of literacy and numeracy to support the KS3 curriculum.
• The ability to travel to schools within the North Wales region.
• Reliability and a commitment to providing consistent support for students.
• An enhanced DBS check (or a willingness to complete one with us).
