Key Stage 3 Teaching Assistants - Positions Across The Wirral

Location: All areas of Wirral (Birkenhead, Wallasey, Bebington, Heswall, and beyond)
Pay: £13.68 - £14.00 per hour

We are constantly seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team of Teaching Assistants supporting students aged 11-14. Because we work with schools throughout the entire Wirral peninsula, we have a continuous need for new staff to help Year 7, 8, and 9 students reach their potential.

Duties:

• Guiding students through the daily challenges of their secondary school timetable.
• Providing simplified explanations of lesson content to ensure no student is left behind.
• Leading small intervention groups to boost progress in English and Mathematics.
• Serving as an official reader or scribe for students during their internal assessments.
• Monitoring student engagement and offering a helping hand to those who lose focus.
• Helping create a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom environment.
• Acting as a reliable point of contact for students needing extra academic confidence.

What we are looking for:

• Individuals who are passionate about youth development and local education.
• A flexible approach and the ability to travel to different school sites across the Wirral.
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
• A valid Enhanced DBS check or a commitment to apply for one immediately.
