Teaching Assistant - North Wales Secondary Schools

Location: Flintshire, Wrexham, Denbighshire, and surrounding areas
Pay Rate: £13.68 - £14.00 per hour

We are recruiting for Teaching Assistants to support students across Key Stage 3 and 4. Whether you are looking for work close to home in Wrexham or across Flintshire, we have schools ready to meet you.

Duties:

• Supporting students in small groups to help them understand their daily lessons.
• Helping Year 7 and 8 students settle into the high school environment.
• Assisting Year 10 and 11 pupils with GCSE revision and coursework prep.
• Acting as a reader or scribe for students during school exams and assessments.
• Working 1-on-1 with students who need extra emotional or academic support.
• Helping the teacher manage the classroom and prepare learning materials.
• Encouraging students to stay focused and reach their full potential.

What we are looking for:

• A friendly, approachable person who enjoys working with young people.
• Good communication skills and a patient nature.
• Reliability and a commitment to helping local schools.
• A valid Enhanced DBS check (or the willingness to apply for one today).
• Access to transport is a plus for reaching different schools across North Wales.
