GCSE Support: KS4 Teaching Assistants (Wirral Wide)

Location: All Wirral areas (Bebington, Bromborough, Wallasey, West Kirby, etc.)
Pay Rate: £13.68 - £14.00 per hour

Our secondary schools across the Wirral have an ongoing demand for staff dedicated to Key Stage 4. If you want to help Year 10 and 11 students cross the finish line of their GCSEs, we want to hear from you.

Duties:

• Assisting Year 10 and 11 students with technical subject content and revision techniques.
• Providing 1-on-1 support for pupils who are working toward specific grade targets.
• Facilitating exam access arrangements by acting as a reader or scribe for students.
• Helping students navigate the pressure of mock exams and practical assessments.
• Encouraging independent learning habits to prepare students for college or apprenticeships.
• Ensuring students with additional needs are fully supported during classroom activities.
• Working as part of a dedicated departmental team to improve student outcomes.
• Promoting a focused and hardworking environment in the classroom.

What we are looking for:

• A steady and reliable presence to support students through their final school years.
• Good academic knowledge to assist with GCSE-level curriculum.
• The ability to travel to various secondary schools within the Wirral area.
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to start a new application.
