We are seeking an experienced and reliable General Building Operative for an ongoing commercial refurbishment project off the A690 near houghton
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting skilled tradespeople (joiners, plasterers, electricians).
Site clearance, moving materials, and manual handling.
Basic demolition and strip-out tasks.
Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe site environment.
Use of basic hand and power tools.
Requirements:
Valid CSCS Card is essential. Asbestos awareness desirable
Previous experience on a construction or refurbishment site.
Understanding of on-site health and safety.
Punctual, hardworking, and able to work well within a team.
