The Opportunity: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and committed Learning Support Assistant to join our highly effective inclusion department. You will be instrumental in supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4 who require additional help to access the curriculum, develop confidence, and achieve academic success.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted interventions and academic support in various subject areas, primarily within classroom settings.
- Collaborate with teachers to differentiate lessons and tailor learning strategies for students with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Provide personal care and mobility assistance to students where necessary, adhering to all health and safety procedures.
- Mentor and motivate students, helping them to develop effective study skills, resilience, and self-esteem.
- Contribute to the review process for students with SEN, providing detailed written and verbal reports.
- Supervise students during non-lesson times, such as breaks, lunch, and before/after school clubs.
What We're Looking For:
- Exceptional literacy and numeracy skills (equivalent to GCSE Grade C/4 or above).
- Demonstrable passion for working with teenagers and understanding the challenges they face.
- The ability to work independently using initiative while also being a strong team player.
- A positive, solution-focused attitude and the ability to maintain professional boundaries.
- Experience or training in supporting specific learning difficulties (e.g., Dyslexia, Autism, ADHD).
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
