Joining a supportive department, you will be working with students who require additional support to access the curriculum.
- 1:1 & Group Support: assisting students with SEN (Special Educational Needs) or behavioural difficulties within the classroom.
- Engagement: finding creative ways to keep students focused, motivated, and on-task.
- Interventions: delivering targeted support sessions in literacy, numeracy, or social skills.
- Behaviour Support: modelling positive behaviour and de-escalating low-level disruption to maintain a calm learning environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
To secure the higher end of the pay bracket (£110/day), we are looking for:
- Experience: Proven track record working as an LSA, TA, or Support Worker, specifically with SEN or challenging behaviour.
- Proactivity: Someone who doesn't wait to be asked-you see a student struggling and you step in.
- Resilience: The ability to remain calm and patient in a busy school setting.
- Compliance: An enhanced DBS on the update service (or happy to apply for one immediately).
