We are urgently seeking dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) for various schools in the Maghull area, with ASAP starts available.
About the Role
As an LSA, you will be a vital part of the school community, working alongside teachers to provide crucial support to students. Your duties will include:
- Supporting Student Learning: Providing one-on-one and small group support to help students understand and complete their schoolwork.
- Assisting with Special Educational Needs (SEN): Working with students who have diverse learning needs, including those with autism and other specific learning difficulties.
- Promoting a Positive Environment: Assisting with classroom management and fostering a safe, inclusive, and encouraging atmosphere for all pupils.
- Preparing Materials: Helping teachers prepare resources and learning materials to ensure a smooth and effective lesson.
- Encouraging Development: Supporting students to develop their independence, social skills, and emotional well-being.
- Monitoring Progress: Observing and reporting on student progress to teachers and other professionals.
