You will be the backbone of the classroom, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed regardless of their barriers to learning.
... - 1:1 Intervention: Delivering tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or those falling behind in core subjects.
- Behaviour Support: Acting as a positive role model and using de-escalation strategies to manage challenging behaviour.
- Emotional Wellbeing: Checking in with students regularly to ensure they feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.
- Collaboration: Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and adapting resources for students with different learning styles.
Who We Are Looking For
To command the top end of our pay bracket (£110/day), we need candidates who are confident and capable.
- Experience: Previous experience in a school, residential care, or youth work setting is essential.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with SEN (Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia) and safeguarding procedures.
- Personality: You must be adaptable, patient, and able to build strong relationships with young people quickly.
- Compliance: An active Enhanced DBS on the update service (or the willingness to apply immediately).
