Your Role & Impact
As a Long-Term English Teacher, you will have full classroom responsibility, ensuring continuity and high standards for KS3 and KS4 learners:

Exam Preparation: Provide critical support for Year 11 cohorts as they approach their GCSEs, focusing on analysis and creative writing.
Relationship Building: Use the "long-term" nature of the role to build the trust and rapport necessary to engage "hard-to-reach" learners.
Collaborative Planning: Work alongside the department head to adapt schemes of work that reflect the diverse needs of the Torpoint community.
