Job Opportunity: Material Handler II - Boxing Room Operative

Are you detail-oriented with a background in warehouse or manufacturing operations? We are seeking two dedicated Boxing Room Operatives to join our team in Cramlington. This role is vital for ensuring our finished products are accurately packed, labelled, and prepared for shipment to the highest quality standards.
The RoleAs a Boxing Room Operative, you will be responsible for the final stages of our production process, ensuring efficiency and compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Packing & Labelling: Accurately pack finished products into cartons or containers following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Quality Control: Verify product counts, batch numbers, and labels; inspect materials for any defects or damage.- Documentation: Maintain precise records of production data and any discrepancies
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to GMP, OSHA, and EHS requirements while maintaining a clean, organised workspace.
- Logistics Support: Assist with pelleting and preparing shipments for transport.
Schedule & Compensation
Pay Rate: £12.65 per hour (£25,155 salary equivalent).
Shift Pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off (06:00 - 18:00)- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with overtime available as needed.
- Benefits: PPE is provided (excluding safety boots).
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Previous experience in packaging, manufacturing, or warehouse operations is preferred
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic math and documentation skills, and the ability to work well in a team.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights (up to 40-50 lbs).
- Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. A forklift license or training is considered a significant benefit.
