Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (6 Months Fixed Contract)
Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire
Shifts Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Hourly Rate: £40 per hour (approx £80,000 per annum pro-rata) + Overtime Available
The Company:
My client is a national energy recovery company, with over 300 sites across the country. This ethical, sector leading firm is seeking a controls and instrumentation engineer with industrial / manufacturing / power industry or similar environment work experience.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate would be a competent mechanical maintenance engineer comfortable working in a heavy duty environment working in heavy duty environments on industrial equipment such as gearboxes, pumps, valves, compactors, conveyors, systems turbines, boilers, pipe work, welding and fabrication.
You will be responsible for all planned and reactive mechanical fittings and fixtures on site, ensure the CMMS system is up to date as well as ensure all compliance and H&S requirements are carried out within the plant.
Requirements:
... - 5+ years experience working as a maintenance technician working on an industrial site.
- Proven ability to manage your own time and carry out work independently.
- Have completed a full onsite apprenticeship and hold an NVQ/ONC/HNC/HND or equivalent.
- Enthusiastic approachable and a can do attitude to work.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Understanding of Environmental and H&S issues and their impacts.
- Experience in working with Safe Systems of Work (PTW).
