Our client in the healthcare industry has an exciting opportunity for a Medical Affairs Assistant to join their expanding team on an initial contract basis. This is a fully remote position.
Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to the Global Medical Affairs - Medical Science and Clinical Education Team and other staff members as necessary.
- Coordinate and execute business contracts in accordance with local compliance and legal policies, ensuring adherence to schedules and maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
- Accurately enter data and documentation into compliance management systems.
- Manage invoicing processes, including obtaining authorisations, securing payments, and confirming invoices using electronic systems.
- Collect supplier documents and collaborate with Supplier Data Management to generate vendor numbers.
- Track and reconcile project and travel budgets, providing regular reports on budget status.
- Assist in organising logistics for medical congresses when required.
- Facilitate regular communication with internal and external stakeholders, keeping management informed of project status, changes, and risks, and contributing to team effectiveness by optimising project efficiency.
Requirements
- 4 years experience in a similar position
- Business fluent in English & French desirable
- Knowledge of medical/clinical/research terminology
