RoleRole & Responsibilities
As a Mental Health Specialist Mentor, you will build strong relationships with students, providing them with personalized support and guidance to navigate challenges and achieve their full potential. You will develop and implement individual support plans, ensuring high-quality mental health care within a flexible part-time schedule.
Main tasks include
- Building strong relationships with students.
- Developing and implementing personalized support plans.
- Providing high-quality mental health support and guidance.
- Collaborating with other support staff to provide holistic student care.
Requirements
- Relevant professional body registration (e.g., BACP, BPS, HCPC, NCPS, NMC, SWE, SCW, UMHAN, or COSCA).
- Experience supporting students' or young adults' mental health.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement personalized support plans.
- Commitment to providing high-quality mental health support.
- A bachelor's degree is advantageous.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with students.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
