We are actively seeking a dynamic and dedicated MFL Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Buckhurst Hill area. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate linguist who can deliver engaging French and Spanish lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience is desirable but not essential).

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery: Teach French and Spanish across KS3 and KS4 with confidence and enthusiasm.
• Planning: Plan and prepare well-structured lessons that cater to a range of abilities (for long-term bookings).
• Assessment: Mark and monitor student work to ensure progress, providing constructive feedback in line with school policy.
• Engagement: fostering a love for languages and cultural awareness within the classroom.
• Behaviour Management: Maintain high standards of behaviour and create a positive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in both French and Spanish.
• Experience teaching the UK National Curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
