We are recruiting for a forward-thinking secondary school in Loughton that is looking to strengthen its MFL department. You will be teaching French and Spanish to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. The department is collaborative, with shared resources and schemes of work in place, allowing you to focus on high-quality delivery in the classroom.
Key duties include:
- Delivering well-paced, engaging lessons in French and Spanish.
- Preparing students for GCSE assessments (AQA/Edexcel experience preferred).
- Using target language effectively to immerse students in learning.
- Supporting students of all abilities, from those requiring extra help to high achievers.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or PGCE in MFL.
- Experience: Proven experience teaching French and Spanish in a UK secondary school setting.
- Personality: Enthusiastic, patient, and able to build strong rapport with students.
- Compliance: Clear DBS on the Update Service and valid right to work in the UK.
