Key Responsibilities & Search Criteria
We are looking for a Secondary MFL Teacher ready to inspire fluency and cultural curiosity.
Linguistic Excellence: Deliver engaging lessons in French and/or Spanish (KS3 & KS4), focusing on the four key skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
The "Flight Path" to Success: Use data-driven formative assessments to ensure every student remains on track to meet or exceed their projected progress targets.
Immersion & Routine: Maintain a focused, inclusive learning environment using the academy's "firm but fair" behavior strategies, encouraging students to take risks with their language production.
Global Citizenship: As a Form Tutor and subject specialist, help students build the resilience and confidence needed to communicate in a diverse, international community.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this MFL Teaching job in Chafford Hundred, you must meet the following:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Mandatory for this position.
Degree: A BA/MA in French, Spanish, or a closely related Modern Languages field.
Experience: A proven history of teaching MFL within a UK secondary school setting.
Compliance: A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) and a 100% commitment to safeguarding.
