An exciting opportunity is available for a proactive PE Teacher to join our partner Secondary School in Bury St Edmunds. We are seeking a dedicated and energetic individual to deliver high-quality lessons across all key stages, inspiring students to participate in a wide range of sports and physical activities. This is a chance to make a profound and lasting impact on young lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons to students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.
- Teach a variety of sports and physical activities, including team sports, athletics, gymnastics, and fitness.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Help create a stimulating and supportive environment that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude towards physical activity.
- Lead and organize extra-curricular sports clubs and school teams.
- Support the physical, emotional, and social development of students, ensuring their well-being and safety at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience teaching Physical Education at a secondary school level.
- A strong understanding of the National Curriculum for PE.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A Child DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
