We are looking for an experienced and qualified Gas Safe Plumber to carry out a range of plumbing and heating tasks in our social housing properties. You will be responsible for diagnostics, repairs, installations, and maintenance, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard and in compliance with all relevant regulations.
This is a Monday to Friday role, offering a great work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake all aspects of plumbing and heating work, including reactive repairs and planned maintenance.
Carry out gas appliance servicing, breakdowns, and installations in a timely and efficient manner.
Diagnose and rectify plumbing and heating faults.
Ensure all work is compliant with Gas Safety Regulations and our company's health and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of all work carried out.
Provide excellent customer service to residents, ensuring they are kept informed and their homes are treated with respect.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
Proven experience as a Plumber, ideally within a social housing environment.
Current Gas Safe registration with relevant domestic qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1).
NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent.
A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate.
A valid Manual Handling certificate.
A valid Asbestos Awareness certificate.
Full UK driving licence.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
Experience with a variety of boiler manufacturers.
Basic multi-trade skills.
