Primary Supply Teacher
Location: Rayleigh, Essex Daily Rate: £140 - £160 per day Contract: Day-to-Day / Flexible Cover

We are actively seeking proactive Primary Teachers for daily supply cover in the Rayleigh area. We work with a diverse range of schools, from vibrant inner-city academies to small community primary schools, all looking for reliable cover teachers to start immediately.
Why Supply Teaching? Supply teaching allows you to focus on what you do best-teaching-without the politics, meetings, or heavy marking load. It is an excellent way to network with local Rayleigh schools and potentially secure long-term roles if desired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Covering classes for absent teachers (sickness, course cover, or PPA time).
- Following lesson plans left by the class teacher and adapting where necessary.
- Building rapid rapport with pupils to ensure a positive learning environment.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Confident across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.
- Resilient, approachable, and able to hit the ground running.
- Live within commutable distance to Rayleigh.
Benefits:
