The Position: Delivering Engagement and ContinuityAs a Primary Supply Teacher with Randstad, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high educational standards across different year groups. Your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across various primary year groups (EYFS, KS1, and KS2).
- Adapt teaching methods instantly to meet the diverse and immediate needs of students in various classrooms.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to school staff.
- Collaborate with school staff (TAs, SLT) to ensure smooth daily operations and handover.
- Uphold school policies and procedures consistently across every placement.
- Inspire a genuine love for learning in young students.
- Cover for absent teachers, providing essential educational support without the burden of planning.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Bachelor of Education) or equivalent.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards it.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience teaching at the primary level.
- A strong understanding of the Primary School Curriculum across different key stages.
- Excellent classroom management skills and professional knowledge.
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Adaptability, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for child development and education.
- Experience with various assessment tools and methods is advantageous.
- An enhanced DBS (on the update service is highly ideal).
