Project Manager - Access for All (AFA) Rail Project

Our client requieres a Rail exoerienced Project Manager to take full responsibility for a key Access for All (AFA) scheme at a railway station in Hertfordshire. This role will oversee the project from the initial design phase through to final implementation and handover.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring delivery on time and to budget.
Lead and coordinate with design teams to ensure specifications are met.
Manage multiple subcontract packages, including building & civils, structural steelwork, lifts, and M&E.
Oversee all temporary works, ensuring safety and compliance.
Demonstrate a flexible approach, including weekend work as required by the project schedule.
Candidate Profile
Essential: Proven project management experience in the UK rail industry.
Essential: Valid SMSTS, PTS, and CSCS certifications.
Highly desirable: In-depth knowledge of AFA schemes.
Strong technical knowledge and experience managing designers.
A collaborative leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
CITB Temporary Works Co-ordinator competency is preferred.
Previous CRE (C) experience would be a significant advantage.
