Randstad C&P are currently recruiting for an experienced, confident Project Manager with a track record of success in delivering large-scale construction projects for a Tier One contractor to run a new scheme in Buckingham! This challenging, stimulating role provides applicants with the opportunity to gain invaluable experience on a long-term, highly complex project with a leading contractor who have an excellent reputation within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor project progress and performance against key milestones and deliverables, and provide regular reports to senior management and clients.
- Foster a collaborative and positive working environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and accountability among project team members.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and contractual requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of all phases of the construction project, from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to manage project resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, effectively.
- Implement robust project management processes and procedures to mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize project performance.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry, preferably with a tier one contractor, managing projects of similar scale and complexity.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while managing risks and resolving issues effectively.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
