We're seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team delivering a range of rail infrastructure projects across the South West. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual who can lead site activities, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and manage day-to-day delivery on a variety of schemes.
You'll be working on projects such as:
Station upgrades and refurbishments
Platform extensions and modifications
Access for All schemes
Concrete and structural works
General civils and rail infrastructure improvements
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily site operations and manage site teams and subcontractors
Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards
Coordinate materials, labour, and resources effectively
Liaise with clients, engineers, and project management teams
Maintain site documentation and reporting in line with company and Network Rail standards
Requirements
Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) ticket - essential
Proven experience within the rail sector, particularly in station upgrades, structures, concrete, Access for All schemes, and platform works
Strong leadership and communication skills
Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (travel between sites required)
Ability to work under CIS
