Role: Cleaners / Porters required in Hospitals with DBS

Rate: £9.50 - £11 P/H

Location: Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells & Tonbridge areas

Length of Contract: Various contracts available ranging from 1 week to 3 months +

Hours available: Days, Afternoon and Evening Shifts are all available (Driving licence is essential for night or evening shifts due to lack of public transport)

You must already have a DBS check (even if expired) - Please only apply if you already have your DBS!!!

Randstad are working alongside Hospitals in the Mid & West Kent area who have indicated they may need extra support in the coming days, weeks and months. Please note that there is no guarantee of work however we will register you so if anymore roles become available, you can be ready to start immediately.

PLEASE NOTE - If you would like to work within the NHS Porter / Cleaner, you will be required to go through an extensive clearance process which will involve paperwork and other requirements. Please do not apply if you're not prepared to do this.

As a Hospital Cleaner for the NHS you will be expected to -

Ensure areas are kept clean and tidy
Moving materials around the hospital
Moving patients from different areas of the hospital
Taking trollies to the labs
Help to change beds and keep them clean
Carry out ad-hoc duties as required by your manager
Have your own and the publics health and safety as your top priority

Requirements for the DBS Cleaner role -

Experience of deep and thorough cleaning is desirable but not essential as full training is given
Experience of Porter work desirable but not essential as full training is given
Hardworking and be able to work on your own initiative
Be able to work in a fast paced and high pressure environment
A DBS will be required and Randstad will be able to assist with this
